Alison Strudwick
Physiotherapist
B.App.Sc (PHTY) ; Grad. Dip. App Sc (Manip PHTY); Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management USYD 2018).
Alison is our Principal Physiotherapist with more than 30 years of experience. She is highly regarded within her profession and has done countless professional development hours throughout her career. Alison is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist through completion a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Sydney University (USYD) .
She completed a Master of Science in Medicine ( Pain Management) through USYD in 2018 . Alison has developed a special interest in early intervention for patients at risk of developing persistent pain and individual pain management programs for chronic pain sufferers.
All areas of musculoskeletal management remain a passion with career highlight working on the Australian Medical Team during the Commonwealth Games 2018.

Kate Haasnoot
Physiotherapist
Kate is a Physiotherapist of 16 years experience who now lives locally in Maitland. Kate’s initial interest in physiotherapy came from her sporting background in basketball having represented Newcastle and the state in her junior years. After graduating in 2001 Kate completed her new graduate year at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before moving back up to Newcastle to work in private practice where she has stayed aside from a 12-month stint working in the NHS in England.
Kate has extensive experience in private practice, treating a wide range of conditions from social sports people to elite athletes, injured workers, paediatrics, the elderly and everything in between. Kate has been atMaitland Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries since January 2017 and impresses with her strong work ethic and her dedication to her profession and her patients.
Kate has a strong interest and experience in combining clinical pilates into her patient’s rehabilitation plans. She is also very experienced in casting and trigger point dry needling.

Charlotte Cordes
Physiotherapist
Charlotte is a German trained physiotherapist with 17 years experience working in private practice. Charlotte started her career in 2003 in North Germany in a private practice with a varied case load including sports injuries, musculoskeletal and neurological patients, general physiotherapy and supervising student physiotherapists.
Charlotte joined our team in 2014, and has since become a highly regarded and well trusted member. Charlotte treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, she also has comprehensive experience working with work related injuries. Charlotte offers pre-pointe dance assessments.
In her spare time Charlotte enjoys running through the bush with her dog.

Jack Shaw
Physiotherapist, ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
Jack completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Newcastle University in 2017. As a keen sportsman from a very young age, Jack had several dealings with physiotherapists and it was this association that initiated his interest in the area.
Jack has represented NSW in baseball, as well as participating in numerous other sports including rugby league, football and tennis. He also competed in competitive powerlifting for 18 months.
Jack now keeps fit in the gym and has particular interest in high performance reconditioning. He has previously worked with a semi-professional football team and currently works with a local rugby league team.

Dom Vervaart
Physiotherapist (B. Physio, UON), Strength and Conditioning Coach (Grad. Cert. Strgth&Condg, UOW)
Dom completed his physiotherapy degree in 2019 and joined our team at the start of 2020. He has since completed a post graduate qualification in strength and conditioning and is passionate about bridging the gap between rehabilitation, return to daily life, and athletic performance.
Dom is able to provide detailed strength and conditioning programs for those pursuing athletic development, or returning to their sports following an injury.
He has also worked with the Hunter Wildfires Colts rugby union team playing in the Shute Shield, providing on and off field injury management.
